The system comprises an air inlet channel and an air outlet channel which respectively communicate with the indoor and outdoor spaces, wherein a filter screen, a deduster, an ultraviolet lamp, a fan, an HEPA (high efficiency particulate air) filter and an ion generator are installed in the air inlet channel; and a fan is installed in the air outlet channel. The method comprises the following steps: adding inorganic ions into outdoor clean air introduced from the air inlet channel, and sending the air with the inorganic ions to all corners in the indoor space; decomposing organic pollutants, peculiar smell, bacteria, mold and other pollutants discharged by an indoor pollution source; and discharging the indoor air through the air outlet channel, and decomposing the indoor organic pollutants.
