Benefits of technology

This patented technology allows for efficient synthesis of certain chemical compounds with fewer stages than traditional methods like hydrolysis or acidic conditions. It also simplifies the manufacturing processes while maintaining high yields through monitoring reactions during each step. Additionally, it does this without separating any intermediate products that may harm their environment.

Problems solved by technology

This patented technical problem addressed by this patent describes how to efficiently produce αβ dimers from certain chemical substances called sulfurazone monoolanes while maintaining good yields and controllability over various stages during production processes such as polymerizing ammonia formaldehyde resin precursors, forming salts like zeolite, crystal growth, and isolation/purification.

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for one-pot synthesis of sulfadoxine by monitoring a reaction progress through HPLC, belonging to the technical field of medicines. The one-pot synthesis method comprises the following steps: (1) preparation of sodium salt; (2) condensation reaction; and (3) etherification reaction. According to the method, the preparation of sodium salt, the condensation reaction and the etherification reaction are carried out in one reaction pot, and the reaction progress is monitored by virtue of HPLC, so that the reaction period is shortened, and the yield is increased; intermediates do not need to be separated, and the reaction is continuous, so that the discharge of wastewater is reduced, and the environment is protected; furthermore, the preparation method is simple, low in cost and applicable to industrial production.
