The invention discloses preparation of a phosphotungstic acid composite material and an experimental method for testing the adsorbing performance of the phosphotungstic acid composite material to methylene blue. Dawson type H6P2W18O62 and a metal organic skeleton MOF-5 serve as raw materials. An adsorbent H6P2W18O62 / MOF-5 composite material is prepared through solvothermal, and representation is performed through IR, XRD, SEM and other means. The adsorbing performance of the phosphotungstic acid composite material to the methylene blue (MB) in an aqueous solution is researched, and influences of initial pH, temperature and MB in different initial concentrations on the adsorbing capacity are discussed.
