Abstract

The invention relates to a high-performance LED lighting system based on an optical thin film. The system comprises a lens, a lamp shell, and an LED chip which is arranged in the lens and the lamp shell. A cold mirror is arranged at the bottom of the LED chip. A heat absorbing layer is arranged between the cold mirror and the lamp shell. The heat absorbing layer closely contacts a radiating fin on the lamp shell. A multilayer different-colored filter which is made of a dielectric material is arranged outside the lens. The system provided by the invention has the following advantages: (1) a multilayer cold mirror which is made of a dielectric material is used to replace a metal aluminum film, thus visible spectral reflectance higher than that of the aluminum film is achieved, and the heat load of the chip is reduced and the temperature of the chip is lowered effectively through infrared heat radiation; and (2) due to the heat absorbing layer, heat through the cold mirror can be absorbed by the heat absorbing layer and sent out by the radiating fin, and thus the temperature in the lamp shell is not too high.
