The invention discloses a WSN (Wireless Sensor Network)-based piggery environment perception electronic nose and a working method; an air chamber is arranged at the upper part; a device protective cover is arranged at the lower part; a sensor device is arranged in the cavity of the air chamber; an air filtering device, a micro air pump, a cleaning air pipeline and a control module are installed in the cavity of the device protective cover; the lower end of the air filtering device is connected to the left end of a horizontally placed cleaning air channel; a horizontally placed hook type spring is arranged in the cavity of the cleaning air channel; the hook at the left end of the hook type spring is fixedly connected to the inner wall of the cleaning air channel; the right end of the hook type spring is connected to an iron sliding block; the right end of the cleaning air channel is respectively connected to the inlet of the micro air pump and the left end of a horizontally placed tested air channel; and an electromagnet wound by a coil is arranged at the left end of the inner cavity of the tested air channel.
