Problems solved by technology

This kind of fiber has high oil absorption rate and oil retention rate, but this kind of fiber is very difficult to process, and the fiber forming rate is low. Although it has the shape of fiber, it still takes a long time to achieve saturated adsorption, the adsorption speed is slow, and the oil absorption rate is low. The final resin and oil products are difficult to recycle and the operation is complicated
[0005] Regenerated polyester non-woven fabrics are usually made of waste plastics such as mineral water bottles and disposable plastic lunch boxes, and are prepared by one-step melt-blowing or melt-spun short fibers through acupuncture. It is mature and has the characteristics of relatively stable nonwoven structure, rich pores, UV resistance, aging resistance, relatively strong rigidity, and corrosion resistance. However, because the density of polyester is higher than that of water, it cannot float on the water surface, so it cannot be directly used for water surface floating. oil removal

Abstract

The invention provides a floating oil removing material which is obtained by surface hydrophobic modification of regenerated polyester non-woven fabrics and can remove floating oil on water surfaces, and also provides a preparation method thereof. The material adopts a regenerated polyester non-woven fabric as a substrate; the regenerated polyester non-woven fabric is grafted with hydrophobic monomers through ultraviolet radiation; the grafted regenerated polyester non-woven fabric has a crosslinked network structure between fabric fiber filaments, and has a stable gap structure; the hygrometric-state apparent density of the material is less than that of water. The preparation method of the present invention comprises steps of cleaning and drying of regenerated polyester non-woven fabrics, soaking and solution mixing, ultraviolet radiation, unreacted monomer removal, and the like. The floating oil removing material of the invention has a hygrometric-state apparent density less than that of water, and thus can float on the water surface to remove floating oil on the water surface. A nondegradable polyester solid waste is converted into a high-efficient and rapid environment treatment material.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an oil-removing material and a preparation method thereof, in particular to a surface-hydrophobic regenerated polyester non-woven fabric water-surface oil-removing material and a preparation method thereof. Background technique [0002] Oily sewage, waste liquid discharge and leakage from oil tankers and tanks will all cause serious pollution to the environment. Although there are many types of traditional oil-absorbing materials, they generally have disadvantages such as poor selectivity, low adsorption ratio, and weak oil retention capacity. At present, the research on oil-absorbing materials in the industry mainly focuses on granular oil-absorbing resins. These resins are generally obtained by suspension polymerization and other methods, so they are basically granular and have a large specific surface area, which is beneficial for improving their adsorption capacity. However, due to the influence of the three-dimensional ch...
