Problems solved by technology

However, adding a global lock will cause only one process to work forever to perform write operations or perform read operations, which means that there will always be processes blocked, which increases resource consumption and cannot fully utilize resources, thus affecting server throughput.

Abstract

The invention provides data reading and writing-in methods and systems of shared memory. The data reading method comprises the steps as follows: positioning the location of the shared memory where to-be-read data is located; obtaining the length of the to-be-read data; obtaining a read offset pointer pRead and a write offset pointer pWrite in the shared memory; judging whether the to-be-read data is readable according to the read offset pointer pRead and the write offset pointer pWrite as well as the length of the to-be-read data; and if yes, reading the to-be-read data from the location of the shared memory where the to-be-read data is located. With the adoption of the invention, the problem of blockage caused by locking is solved, so that the resource consumption is reduced, the system resource is sufficiently utilized, the processing speed is increased, and the server throughput is improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of computer communication, in particular to a shared memory data reading method, a shared memory data writing method, a shared memory data reading system, and a shared memory data write to the system. Background technique [0002] Throughput refers to the sum of the amount of data transmitted on the network during a performance test. For interactive applications, the throughput index reflects the pressure on the server. In the test of capacity planning, the throughput index shows the load capacity at the system level. With the continuous growth of user traffic and the continuous accumulation of enterprise data, the throughput requirements for servers are also getting higher and higher. [0003] The speed of communication between server processes will affect the throughput. Shared memory is usually used. Shared memory is the fastest and most useful method for inter-process communication. The use of ...
