Embodiment Construction

[0027] The present invention will be further described below in conjunction with drawings and embodiments.

[0028] The sea surface pulse echo signal received by the radar can be modeled as the following form:

[0029] s(t)=c(t)+x(t)+n(t)

[0030] Among them, c(t) represents the sea clutter, which can be regarded as a stationary non-Gaussian signal in a short time; x(t) represents the target signal, which stays in the detection unit for a short time, and can be regarded as a transient non-stationary signal; n( t) represents additive noise, which is caused by the internal noise of the receiver and conforms to Gaussian distribution.

[0031] The radar detects the sea surface for a period of time in the resident working mode, and receives and stores the I / Q echo data as the radar experiment data. The A-type spectrum is obtained by the first fast Fourier transform of the echo pulse, from which the echo data of each range element is decomposed for further processing below.

Abstract

The invention provides a method for detecting a dim target in sea clutter on the basis of spectrum kurtosis. The method includes the steps of (1) obtaining a time-Doppler spectrum through echo sequences of distance elements after short-time Fourier transform, (2) calculating kurtosis values of frequency points on the time-Doppler spectrum to obtain the spectrum kurtosis, (3) obtaining a self-adaptation threshold by means of a constant false alarm rate detection method, and (4) comparing values of the spectrum kurtosis on the frequency points with the self-adaptation threshold to judge whether the target exists. By means of short-time stability of the sea clutter and instantaneity of target echo signals in a single distance element, influences of a heavy clutter area on target detection is reduced, moving target signals can be effectively detected, and the method is suitable for moving target detection on a low signal-to-clutter ratio condition.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of radar signal processing, and relates to weak and small target detection technology under the background of sea clutter. In particular, it relates to a spectral kurtosis-based weak target detection method in sea clutter. The invention is applicable to shore-based microwave radar systems of various coherent mechanisms. Background technique [0002] The backscatter of radar transmissions from the sea surface often severely limits the radar's ability to detect ships, aircraft, missiles, navigation buoys, and other targets within the same radar resolution cell as the sea surface. These interfering signals are generally called sea clutter or sea surface echoes. Sea surface target detection technology is very important in both military and civilian fields. Therefore, many researchers at home and abroad have been devoting themselves to the research of this technology. The early radar system directly transmits the acqui...
