The insecticidal composition comprises the active ingredients the 1-((6-chloropyridine-3-yl) methyl)-5-propoxy-7-methyl-8-nitryl-1,2,3,5,6,7-hexahydroimidazo[1,2-alpha] pyridine) and the cypermethrin, wherein the weight ratio of the 1-((6-chloropyridine-3-yl) methyl)-5-propoxy-7-methyl-8-nitryl-1,2,3,5,6,7-hexahydroimidazo[1,2-alpha] pyridine) to the cypermethrin is (1:25)-(25:1), and the percentage composition of the 1-((6-chloropyridine-3-yl) methyl)-5-propoxy-7-methyl-8-nitryl-1,2,3,5,6,7-hexahydroimidazo[1,2-alpha] pyridine) and the cypermethrin in total is 1%-80%.
