Abstract

The invention discloses application of curcumin in preparation of medicine for treating psoriasis. The medicine comprises an effective amount of curcumin and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, wherein the weight content of the curcumin is 1-99%. The curcumin and the carrier are prepared into clinically or pharmaceutically acceptable preparation which are conventional oral solid preparations such as capsules or tablets or external preparation such as ointment, cream and gel; the preparation are applied to patients requiring treatment through external or oral approach and have obvious effect on control on HaCaT cell proferation; and the curcumin can be used for preparing the medicine for treating psoriasis. Proven by animal experiments and clinical tests, curcumin has an obvious effect and good safety; and curcumin is a novel medicine for treating psoriasis, and has good development prospect.
