A solar and wind energy auto-irrigation system for a roof garden comprises a frame, rods, a wind driven generator, a solar panel, a storage battery, an inverter, an intelligent controller, a spray irrigation water pump, a plurality of soil moisture testers, and an intelligent switch. The soil moisture testers and spray irrigation nozzles are distributed in the garden and are connected with the intelligent control switch through wires. On and off of the spray irrigation water pump are automatically controlled by the soil moisture testers according to water content of soil, so that automatic spray irrigation is achieved, and cost of the roof garden is reduced greatly. Fittings such as the spray irrigation water pump and the storage battery are all disposed below a solar collection panel, so that the spray irrigation water pump is protected, and stability is improved. Layout of the solar collection panel, the wind driven generator and the storage battery is determined according to the power requirement of the spray irrigation water pump. The spray irrigation water pump, the storage battery and the generator are integrated and wind power is combined with solar energy, so that comprehensive use is achieved.
