Abstract

The invention relates to a method for preparing high-capacity cathode slurry for an automobile. The method comprises the steps of: (1) roasting carbon powder and an conductive additive in a vacuum oven; (2) adding 88-96% of carbon powder, 0.5-2% of conductive additive, 1-3% of CMC (Carboxymethylcellulose), 0.5-3% of SBR (Styrene Butadiene Rubber) and 2-5% of LA132 by weight percentage into water, vacuumizing and agitating for 6-10 hours in an agitator; and (3) adding 0.5-1% of isopropanol by weight percentage 1-2 hours before slurry discharge, and performing double filtration by a filter screen to obtain the cathode slurry. According to the method for preparing the high-capacity cathode slurry for the automobile provided by the invention, a CMC-SBR-LA132 system binder is used, advantages of conventional CMC-SBR system and SBR-LA132 system are considered, and the cathode slurry has binding, thickening and defoaming functions. The cathode slurry bubble is reduced effectively and the cathode slurry has a good application prospect.
