In a process of defining the arrival interval reliability of the urban bus, various definition features of the conventional reliability are fused; the running reliability of a station bus under different arrival intervals is determined by using a segment calculation method; reliability weight values of different buses at different stations on different lines are determined by planning the arrival interval, the flow and the like; and the bus arrival interval reliability index calculation method is provided based on a station layer, a line layer and a network layer. By the improved method for acquiring the arrival interval reliability, the shortcomings of the conventional method for acquiring the index of the arrival interval reliability can be well overcome; the method is easy to operate; the calculation result is rational and can reflect the actual running characteristic of the bus; and the method is relatively high in practical value.
