Abstract

The invention discloses an electrochemical detection method for ion pairs formed by Cu2+ and TPB- in a water / 1,2-dichloroethane system, which comprises the following steps: performing cyclic voltammetry scanning on platinum working electrode, counter electrode and reference electrode on a water / 1,2-dichloroethane interface, thereby obtaining an irregular current cyclic voltammogram, wherein a test proves that the irregular current is caused by the ion pairs formed by Cu2+ and TPB- on a liquid / liquid interface; and meanwhile, utilizing a density functional theory to calculate minimal gibbs free energy of the ion pairs TPB-Cu2+TPB- formed by Cu2+ and TPB-, thereby obtaining the composition of the most stable ion pairs.
