Abstract

The invention relates to the computer technology, provides a centralized data management system and method, and is used for solving the problem of relative independence of each data source in the existing computer. The adopted technical scheme is as follows: the centralized data management system comprises a data management module, a reader-writer management module and at least one reader-writer object, wherein the data management module is used for establishing a data cache table, indicating the reader-writer management module to carry out corresponding operation on user data according to a user request and receiving the returned data; the reader-writer management module is used for establishing the corresponding reader-writer objects for data sources, storing a corresponding relation table, entrusting the reader-writer objects to carry out operation on the data sources according to indication of the data management module, and returning the data to the data management module; and the reader-writer object is used for carrying out reading-writing operation on the corresponding data sources, and converting the data which needs to be returned into a format of the data cache table. The centralized data management system and method have the beneficial effects of being simple for a user to operate and being suitable for management of the computer data sources.
