Problems solved by technology

Moreover, there are no polar groups in the molecular chain, which makes the surface of the fiber extremely inert and difficult to adsorb other substances
Therefore, the fibers cannot be treated with roughening, activation and sensitization methods for chemical plating, and it is also difficult to coat or adsorb conductive substances on the surface.

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for preparing a conductive ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene fiber. The conventional method is complicated in process and causes environmental pollution. The method comprises the following steps of: firstly, immersing the ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene fiber into acetone, ethanol or a tetrahydrofuran solution, performing ultrasonic washing on the fiber and airing; secondly, dissolving a dopamine substance into a buffer solution to prepare an activation solution, placing the ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene fiber into the activation solution and activating the ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene fiber under stirring; and finally, immersing the activated ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene fiber in a plating solution at temperature of 10 to 60 DEG C for 0.5 to 10 hours so as to finish silver plating. By the method, the surface of the ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene fiber is activated by using dopamine polymer and metallized by using chemical plating, so that the ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene fiber with extremely high conductivity can be obtained; and the whole process is environment-friendly and pollution-free.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of macromolecules, and relates to a method for preparing conductive fibers, in particular to a method for preparing conductive ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fibers by using dopamine-like substances to activate the surface of fibers to realize chemical silver plating, aiming to obtain a conductive ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fiber. Conductive, antistatic and superior performance fibers. Background technique [0002] Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fibers are made from UHMWPE powder with a weight-average molecular weight of more than one million through gel spinning and ultra-thermal stretching. The molecular chains in UHMWPE fibers are arranged in parallel along the fiber axis, and the degree of orientation is very high; the main chain is a simple -CH2-plane zigzag structure without side groups, and the symmetry, regularity and flexibility are very good, so the fiber ...
