Abstract

The invention belongs to the technical field of biochemical engineering, and discloses a method for producing 1,3-propanediol through fermentation, which comprises the following steps of: preparing a culture medium; culturing seeds; and fermenting to obtain the 1,3-propanediol. By adding malic acid into a fermentation medium, the final concentration is 0.1-10.0g / L; and the adding time is selectedfrom an initial stage of fermentation to an exponential phase of strains. The added malic acid can promote tricarboxylic acid circulation of thalli, and provide more reducing coenzymes and energy. The method is suitable for the aerobic fermentation process of the 1,3-propanediol. The method has the advantages that: producing strains can be promoted to utilize a substrate of glycerol, the concentration and production strength of the 1,3-propanediol are obviously improved, and the production cost is reduced.
