The analysis method comprises the following steps of: performing oil-gas separation on the transformer insulating oil, and then quantitatively analyzing the separated gas by using the Fourier transform infrared spectrometer to realize quick and quantitative analysis of the multi-component gas. The analyzed gas comprises iso-butane, n-butane, carbon monoxide, propylene, propyne, sulfur hexafluoride and water vapor besides methane, ethane, propane, ethylene, ethyne and carbon dioxide in conventional transformer oil-immersed gas analysis.
