Embodiment Construction

[0054] The present invention will be described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments.

[0055] refer to figure 1 , the iris image feature extraction method based on odd symmetry 2D Log-Gabor filter of the present invention, implement according to the following steps:

[0056] Step 1. Long-distance collection of iris images.

[0057] Iris collection is one of the key technologies of iris recognition system. The size of the iris itself is very small. How to obtain high-quality iris images for recognition without violating the human body is one of the core issues in realizing long-distance iris recognition. The invention adopts a high-definition camera with automatic zoom as the iris collection device, the lens is driven by a micro-stepping motor, and the focal length can be automatically adjusted according to the feedback information of the iris quality evaluation model without the active assistance of the user. The lighting so...

Abstract

The invention discloses an iris image feature extraction method based on an odd-symmetric 2D Log-Gabor filter, which comprises the following steps: (1) acquiring an iris image by using an iris acquisition device; (2) preprocessing the iris image, including iris positioning, iris image quality evaluation and normalization; (3) extracting the original iris features by using an improved algorithm based on the odd-symmetric 2D Log-Gabor filter: exporting the function of the 2D Log-Gabor filter, transforming the 2D Log-Gabor filter to rectangular coordinates from polar coordinates, resolving the 2D Log-Gabor filter into a two-dimensional odd-symmetric filter function, dividing iris subblocks and extracting the features; (4) fusing the features: extracting the amplitude value and phase of each subblock, and fusing the features; (5) and matching and classifying the features: encoding the features, encoding the Hamming distance, selecting the threshold of the Hamming distance and identifying the iris feature. The method breaks through the iris acquisition distance limit (2 meters) and enhances the accuracy and reliability for long-distance iris identification.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of biological feature identification, and relates to an iris identification method based on an oddly symmetrical 2D Log-Gabor filter. Background technique [0002] There are four aspects to evaluate the quality of a biometric identification technology: anti-counterfeiting, universality, stability and acceptability. Of all biometrics, fingerprints are relatively stable but taking them is invasive. Face shape features have many advantages (e.g., non-invasive, user-friendly), but face shape changes with age and is easy to camouflage. Voice features have similar advantages to face features, but it changes with factors such as age, health status and environment, and speech recognition systems are also easily deceived by recordings and easily forged. Iris feature recognition solves these problems, and at the same time, it also has some advantages that the other biometric features mentioned above have. Iris reco...
