Abstract

The invention provides a sprayable and toughened polypropylene composition, which contains the following blended components: 100 weight parts of acrylic resin, 5 to 30 weight parts of thermoplastic polyolefin elastomer, and 5 to 30 weight parts of thermoplastic elastomer graft, wherein the thermoplastic polyolefin elastomer is an ethylene-octene copolymer; and the thermoplastic elastomer graft isa styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer or a graft of a styrene-pentadiene-styrene block copolymer and a polar monomer, and the polar monomer is at least one of 2-vinylpyridine, 4-vinylpyridine or isomers thereof. The sprayable polypropylene composition is prepared by melt blending of the components. The polypropylene composition has good toughness and sprayable performance.
