Abstract

The invention discloses an implementation method of a video conference and a video conference system. The implementation method of the video conference comprises: voice terminals respectively have interaction with a media resource server (MRS) through a public switched telephone network so as to realize audio transmission among the voice terminals; conference control terminals respectively have interaction with a video conference server through internet so as to realize video transmission among the conference control terminals; wherein all the conference control terminals respectively correspond to all the voice terminals; and video signals coming from the video conference server are blended with audio signals coming from the MRS through the conference control terminals. The invention separated the transmission of the video signals and the audio signals in the video conference, thus relieving the limitation of network bandwidth for the video conference to a large extent and improving the quality of the video conference.
