Abstract

Fiber samples of cotton to be tested are collected 15 days after flowering, expression value of the gene GhCAD6 in developmental cotton fiber is identified, materials with relative lower expression value are the materials with good quality. The invention has positive effects that, a reliable basis of molecular selection in species selection is provided to breeders, such that breeders can synthesize quality factor for selection of species as well as selecting agronomic trait during development period of cotton fiber in the fields, selection can be obtained by combining results of final quality analysis, then accuracy of selection is improved, and that is urgently needed in practice of prior cotton breeding.
