Abstract

The invention relates to a traditional Chinese medicine preparation, namely composite piper longum analgesic capsule for treating face ache (prosopalgia) due to wind and cold disease, blood stasis and vital energy retardation disease, composed of the following raw materials by weight: piper longum 145g, corydalis tuber processed with vinegar) 14.5g, angelica dahurica 43.5g, scullcap processed by wine 17.4g, thladiantha dubia 29g. The traditional Chinese medicine preparation has features of simple formula, obvious analgesia function, obvious curative effect and safe administration. The clinical tests show that: the total observation case number is 90, wherein the number of A treatment group is 60, and the numbers of B control groups are respectively 30 (control medicine-carbamazepine tablet), all being blood stasis and vital energy retardation type. The test results show that: the total effective rate of A group for treating prosopalgia is 88.3%, the total effective rate of B group is 80%, therefore the A group has obvious curative effect on prosopalgia without obvious side effect.
