Abstract

The invention discloses a method for carrying out data synchronization by using a mobile data synchronization protocol, which is used for a mobile communication network system including a client end and a server end. The method comprises the following steps: a synchronization initialization step: the client end sends an initialization data packet to the server end and the server end sends a confirming data packet back to the client end; a synchronization processing step: the client end sends the synchronization data as the synchronization compression data packet of the selected compression option structure to the server end; the server end decompresses and reduces the synchronization data packet and carries out the synchronization updating process according to the original SyncML protocol, then compresses and packs the synchronization data which composes the server end so as to send to the client end; the client end decompresses and reduces the returned synchronization compression data packet and carries out the synchronization updating process according to the original SyncML protocol; the processes are repeated until the synchronization data processing between the client end and the server end is finished.
