A T-shirt style nursing garment is described. A T-shirt or other type of torso garment has an opening along the sides of the garment starting from under the arm to approximately half-way down the length of the garment. The opening is not apparent or obvious to someone looking at the garment. The nursing garment allows a woman to breastfeed without exposing any portion of the breast or shoulder.
