FIELD OF THE INVENTION[0001]The present invention regards compositions for prevention and / or treatment of renal disorders in mammals. More specifically, the present invention concerns the use of compositions for prevention and / or treatment of renal disorders comprising natural and non-natural amino acids preferably in an elderly subject.BACKGROUND[0002]Although human kidneys age better than other fundamental organs, such as the heart and brain, their decline in structure and function increases the susceptibility of healthy subjects as well as those with chronic disease to drugs and electrolyte abnormalities during stressful conditions.
