Abstract

The invention comprises a series of preparing steps as following: taking powder of white atractylodes rhizome, adding water, distilling by using ultrasonic, filtering, adding 95%alcohol to filtrate and standing overnight, retrieving alcohol from filtrate, distilling sunk fluid of alcohol by ethyl acetate, drying out ethyl acetate, fetching constant volume of the treated fluid as solution of sample; dropping a drop of solution of sample on G thin layer plate with silica gel, 20 minute saturation in advance in developing agent, then developing, fetching out, air drying, spraying alcohol solution of 10% sulfuric acid, heating till obtaining clear color speck; scanning the speck by using fluorescence in 330nm wavelength obtains fingerprint needed. Common characteristics of TLC fingerprints from 11 batches of white atractylodes rhizome are as standard fingerprint. The invention provides method for controlling quality and discriminating true and false of medicinal materials.
