Embodiment Construction

[0034] like Figure 5 As shown, a UWB transmitter based on each stage of programmable delay line according to the present invention includes a look-up table module, a programmable delay line and a power amplifier which are sequentially controlled and connected.

[0035] The look-up table module is used to respectively provide control words to the programmable delay units of all levels. The control word is determined by the following steps: dividing the ideal baseband pulse with equal voltage amplitude to obtain time sampling points; and then converting the time sampling points into the control word through the capacitor charging and discharging formula. By configuring these control words, the function of pulse shaping is realized. It solves the difficulty of how to generate UWB pulses with high spectrum utilization through a digital power amplifier without increasing the difficulty of circuit design and power consumption. Therefore, the UWB transmitter described in the prese...

Abstract

The invention discloses a UWB transmitter based on each level of programmable delay lines, relates to a new generation of information technology, and provides a scheme for solving the problems of low spectrum utilization rate and the like in the prior art. The circuit mainly comprises a lookup table module, a programmable delay line and a power amplifier. Wherein the lookup table module is used for respectively providing control words for each level of programmable delay unit. And the control word is formed by performing equal voltage amplitude segmentation on the ideal baseband pulse to obtain a time sampling point and converting the time sampling point. The method has the advantages of reducing the circuit design difficulty, improving the spectrum utilization rate, supporting large-range pulse bandwidth change and the like.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to wireless communication technology, in particular to a UWB transmitter based on a programmable delay line of each stage. Background technique [0002] UWB (Ultra Wideband) is a carrier-free communication technology that transmits data using nanosecond to microsecond non-sinusoidal narrow pulses. The UWB transmitter mainly includes two core modules, the pulse generator and the radio frequency power amplifier, which are used to generate the pulse signal required for UWB communication. This pulse signal must meet the frequency domain and time domain requirements specified in the IEEE 802.15.4z standard. [0003] According to the stipulation in the IEEE 802.15.4z protocol standard, the single-sideband bandwidth of the baseband pulse signal is 0.25GHz to 1GHz. When the traditional narrowband communication transmitter is used as a UWB pulse generator, in order to increase the feasibility of the design of the post-stage filter, the sa...
