Abstract

The invention relates to a method for improving water permeability of a pavement.The method comprises the following steps: 1) removing a pavement surface layer; (2) performing drilling on a road base, wherein a hole channel downwards penetrates through the road base and the gravel layer in sequence and extends to the top of a plain soil layer; (3) cleaning the hole channel, laying inverted filter isolation cloth at the bottom of the hole channel, correspondingly covering opening of the hole channel with a reinforcing mesh, and fixing the reinforcing mesh; and 4) re-paving the pavement surface layer. The improvement method provided by the invention can be used for transforming a non-permeable pavement into a permeable pavement, and can also be used for repairing and improving the water permeability of an existing road pavement; and according to the paving modes of different road surfaces, the hole diameter of the drill hole, the hole channel filling treatment mode and the hole opening reinforcing measure can be selected, so that the bearing capacity of the pavement is guaranteed to the maximum extent.
