Abstract

The invention discloses a novel broadband array antenna, and the antenna comprises a polarization grid, an oscillator antenna and a waveguide feed network, wherein the polarization grid is a metal strip fixed on the feed network; the oscillator antenna is composed of two L-shaped metals which are respectively positioned in the center of the long side of the rectangular waveguide of the feed network; the waveguide feed networks are formed by cascading single-ridge to rectangular waveguide HT type power dividers and single-ridge waveguide HT type power dividers, in order to compress the longitudinal size of the waveguide feed networks, a folded waveguide structure is introduced, and the two feed networks are symmetrically arranged and are respectively excited by a single-ridge waveguide. Thenovel broadband array antenna is designed in a mechatronics mode, the HT type cascade waveguide feed network of a broadband structure is adopted to achieve broadband performance, the feed loss is greatly reduced compared with a medium transmission line, the single ridge waveguide and a folding structure are selected, the three-dimensional size of the array antenna is reduced, and the use requirement of a one-dimensional large-angle scanning system is met; and a polarization gate is introduced to suppress a vertical polarization component generated by the rectangular waveguide port.
