Abstract

The invention discloses a large-breadth workpiece three-dimensional data extraction method and system. The method comprises the steps of enabling a workpiece and a scanning system to move relatively,and enabling a laser ray emitted by the scanning system to cover the breadth of the scanned workpiece; acquiring three-dimensional data on a breadth laser ray of the workpiece; calculating the distance between adjacent laser rays according to the relative movement speed of the workpiece and the scanning system and the image acquisition frequency of the scanning system; and splicing the three-dimensional data on all the laser rays according to the calculated distance to obtain the three-dimensional data of the breadth of the workpiece. The system comprises a scanning system, a robot, a high-speed pulse module, a PLC and an upper computer. Accurate splicing of three-dimensional data on the laser rays can be realized by combining the data acquisition speed of the camera and the movement speedof the robot so that the method and the system can adapt to the precision extraction requirements of different types of workpieces in different occasions.
