Through activation, rich porous structures are formed on the surface of the coal gangue sludge-based activated carbon, functional groups are also changed, and the accumulated gas production rate in the anaerobic reaction process can be remarkably increased. The instantaneous adsorption effect of sludge on organic matters can be weakened, the acid stress phenomenon in the reactor is effectively relieved, and the stability of an anaerobic digestion system is enhanced.
