Abstract

By means of the escalator safety device, whether objects on steps of an escalator are suspended or not can be inducted and recognized, and following movement of the whole mechanism is achieved by means of the characteristic that the handrails synchronously move along with the escalator; and torsional springs, rotating plates and clamping rods are used for assisting in fixing the suspended objects, so that the suspended objects do not roll down, and the safety of people on the escalator is guaranteed.
