The method comprises the following steps that a VCU (Vehicle Control Unit) monitors the state of anFCU (Electric Control Unit) in real time, judges that a vehicle is in a normal mode if the FCU operates normally, and judges that the vehicle is in a fault mode if the VCU receives a fault alarm sentby the FCU; in the normal mode, the FCU monitors the state of a fuel cell system in real time, and if the FCU detects that the fuel cell system stops running, the FCU controls the fuel cell system todischarge quickly according to a discharge strategy of the normal mode; and in the fault mode, if the FCU detects that a highest-level fault occurs or a DCDC (direct-current conversion controller) shutdown fault occurs, the FCU controls the fuel cell system to discharge quickly according to a discharge strategy of the fault mode.
