The power distribution network cable line monitoring method comprises steps of obtaining historical operation data of a cable line, wherein the historical operation data comprises multiple groups of historical influence factor data; inputting the historicaloperation data into a neural network model, the neural network model comprising an intermediate layer function and an output layer function, the intermediate layer function being a function of the intermediate layer variable with respect to the influence factor data, and the output layer function being a function of the cable line state data with respect to the intermediate layer variable; training the neural network model to obtain a parameter matrix of an intermediate layer function and a parameter matrix of an output layer function; obtaining influence factor data of a to-be-analyzed field; inputting the influence factor data of the to-be-analyzed field into the trained neural network model; and calculating cable line state data of the to-be-analyzed field according to the neural network model. According to the invention, the cable line can be effectively protected.
