Embodiment 1

[0080] Preparation of Bituminous Compositions According to the Disclosure.

[0081] Coolseal–UP 7814. A batch of titanium dioxide colored bitumen emulsion, entitled Batch "Coolseal UP 7814", was prepared by forming a 37,010 lbs slurry in a vertical high shear mixer. The slurry consisted of 3,532 gallons of water, 1,588 pounds of fiber and 6,004 pounds of clay. A total of 12,390 pounds (1,332 gallons) of this slurry was then used as the starting point for making a titanium dioxide colored asphalt emulsion. 17,139 lbs of TiO2 and 3,545 lbs of sand were added to the 12,390 lbs of slurry. After thorough mixing, add 11,568 lbs (1,389 gal) of oil (CSS), 3,184 lb (375 gal) of latex (Avicor), 943 lb (118 gal) of polymer emulsion (UP7814) and 1,479 lb (178 gal) of With additional water, a batch of 50,248 lbs of titanium dioxide colored asphalt emulsion was produced. The composition of the batch was approximately 22.59% water, 1.06% fiber, 4.01% clay, 34.18% TiO2, 7.07% sand, 23.07%...
