Problems solved by technology

However, the existing physical eye stalk resection methods will cause great damage to the animal body and easily cause death, and the eye stalk resection will affect its normal physiological function, which is not conducive to the later growth and reuse. Also does not meet animal welfare requirements
In addition, the chemical method is complicated to operate and may need to be performed many times, and the overall operation cost is relatively high

Abstract

The invention discloses a minimally invasive operation method and device for electrically damaging an eyestalk or related channels of crustaceans. The device comprises a current generator, a pedal switch connected with the current generator and an electrode connected with the output end of the current generator. During operation, related stimulation parameters of an output current of the electrodeare adjusted according to sizes or types of different crustaceans; the tip of the electrode is inserted into the eye handle of a crustacean after being sterilized, and the tip of the electrode directly damages the X-organ sinus gland system in the eyestalk by electricity or blocks related channels for secreting hormones which inhibits gonadal development; the tip of the electrode is selectively controlled to work by using the pedal switch to provide current stimulation; and after the operation, the crustacean is put back into water for continuous cultivation. According to the invention, synthesis and secretion of gonadal inhibitory hormones of the crustaceans can be blocked, and reproductive performance of animals is improved; electricity causes small-range minimally invasive damage, so that the postoperative survival rate of animals is greatly improved, and body appearance is not influenced; and operation is simple, rapid and convenient.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of animal minimally invasive surgery, in particular to a minimally invasive surgical method and device for damaging crustacean eye stalks or related pathways with electricity. Background technique [0002] The X-organ sinus gland complex (XO-SG) in crustacean eye stalks secretes gonad-inhibiting hormones that inhibit female ovary development and maturation. Therefore, the eye stalk is the most important target organ for reproductive regulation in crustaceans. Only when the outside world reaches certain conditions, the hormone gradually decreases, and the animal body can develop sexual maturity. Therefore, the secretion of such inhibitory hormone by this organ is very unfavorable for artificial breeding and large-scale production. [0003] Academic research has shown that blocking the secretion pathway of this hormone can induce the rapid development and maturation of the ovary. At present, the common way to...
