The method comprises the followingsteps: (1) land preparation and fertilizer application: selecting a flat land parcel, carrying out pre-sowing deep-plowing land preparation, and carrying out basal fertilizer application; (2) ridge forming: carrying out equidistant ridge forming on the flat field mechanically or manually; (3) sowing: dibbling seed potatoes in ridges; (4) straw covering: crushing straws, and uniformly covering surfaces of the ridges with the crushed straws; (5) mulching film covering: covering the straws obtained in the step (4) with mulching films, and covering the mulching films with a layer of shallow soil;and (6) field management: carrying out water management, topdressing and disease and insect pest control. According to the method, through triple actions of day heating, night heat preservation and water-storage soil-moisture-preservation at a primary stage, early germination, sound seedling and vegetative growth of potatoes are promoted; and later-stage reproductive growth of the potatoes and rapid expanding of potato tubers are facilitated, so that the high yielding and early for-sale efficient planting of potatoes of irrigated fields is achieved.
