Abstract

The invention discloses a display control method, a circuit and a display panel thereof. The display control method comprises the steps: inserting a time delay region between at least two adjacent line scanning stages in a plurality of line scanning stages of an initial frame period, so as to obtain a corresponding target frame period; and providing a scanning signal at a first level in the plurality of line scanning stages, and providing a scanning signal at a second level in the time delay region so as to display a corresponding frame picture in each frame period. The invention provides a display control method and a circuit thereof. The display frame rate is reduced by continuously or sectionally inserting delay regions in a plurality of line scanning stages of an initial frame period.The target frame rate is selectable. A scanning signal at a second level is provided when the delay regions are inserted. The display panel is driven to display a corresponding frame picture in each frame period. According to the display control method and circuit provided by the invention, the power consumption of the display panel is reduced while the picture frame rate is reduced.
