Abstract

The invention provides application of a retrograde recombinant adeno-associated virus type 2 in infected spiral neurons. The application is characterized in that the retrograde recombinant adeno-associated virus type 2 is injected into the cochlea by cochlear round window injection, and the retrograde recombinant adeno-associated virus type 2 is efficiently and specifically infects the spiral neurons. The invention provides a new usage of the recombinant adeno-associated virus type 2 in the infection of the cochlear spiral neurons, which has not been reported before, and the retrograde recombinant adeno-associated virus type 2 is capable of efficiently and specifically infecting the cochlear spiral neurons, and has good application prospects in the preparation of drugs for treating hereditary deafness and deafness related diseases, especially the drugs for auditory sensory neuron-spiral neuron related diseases.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of recombinant adeno-associated virus and its application, and in particular relates to the application of a retrograde recombined type 2 adeno-associated virus in spiral neurons. Background technique [0002] Injecting genes that can be improved and corrected into our peripheral and sensory organs, spinal cord and brain to achieve long-term stable and effective therapeutic effects is the top priority of current genetic therapy. However, because there are physiological barrier systems between our organs or inside our organs, such as the most familiar blood-brain barrier (Blood-Brain Barriers, BBB); therefore, it is particularly important to find technical means that can efficiently penetrate the barrier system . The current common technical method is to carry out repeated drug injections into the brain tissue, retina and cochlear system. However, the disadvantages are high tissue damage and short drug efficacy perio...
