Abstract

The invention provides a water body mosquito control device and method based on multi-stage mosquito trapping and hydrologic mosquito killing. The device mainly comprises six portions including a suspension carrier, a primary mosquito trapping system, a secondary mosquito trapping system, a mosquito killing system, a power supply system and a central control system. The device is suitable for controlling mosquitoes of a medium and small sized surface water body which is not thorough in pollutant intercepting, is seriously polluted and breeds mosquitoes easily. The suspension carrier floats onthe water surface and supports the other systems; the primary mosquito trapping system is used for trapping mosquitoes which are away from the device to the position nearby the device; the secondary mosquito trapping system is used for further trapping the mosquitoes nearby the device to the mosquito killing system; and the mosquito killing system provides a dry and wet alternant hydrologic environment by draft change caused by buoyancy change so as to achieve a purpose of efficiently controlling the mosquitoes. Meanwhile, up-down floating of the system in the invention has an oxygenation function on the water body, the self-cleaning ability of the water body can be improved, and moreover, plants can also efficiently purify water.
