Abstract

The invention provides frozen soil freezing and thawing cycle SHPB test equipment under stress state and a test method thereof. The test equipment comprises a freezing and thawing cycle sample preparation system, a SHPB test system, and a data acquisition system. The soil is placed in a soil placement chamber S; the freezing and thawing cycle of the soil body is realized by the freezing and thawing cycle instrument; and the soil body is made into a cylindrical test piece. The test piece is placed in a pressure chamber. A stress-loading control system is used for injecting non-frozen liquid into the pressure chamber to apply a confining stress to the test piece. A bullet is emitted by bullet launching device to strike an incident rod, and generates an incident compression wave in the incident rod. The incident compression wave is transmitted to the test piece, and a part of the wave enters a transmission rod to become a transmitted wave. The test method of the test equipment comprises the steps of preparing the test piece, applying the confining stress, testing and the like. The test equipment can be used for observing the mesoscopic characteristics of the test sample during the test. The freezing and thawing cycle of soil body and the automation of frozen soil simulation under stress state can be realized.
