Abstract

Provided are an intelligent faucet and a control method thereof. The intelligent faucet comprises a faucet body, a valve element, a faucet handle, a water route assembly and a control system, whereinthe control system comprises a control chip and a temperature sensor; the water route assembly comprises a three way magnetic valve, a hot water inlet pipe, a cold water inlet pipe, a mixed water pipeand a water outlet pipe; a back flow pipeline, a first valve, a second valve and a miniature water pump are arranged in the water outlet pipe; the three way magnetic valve, the first valve, the second valve and the miniature water pump are electrically connected with the control system; and the control system comprises a controller and the temperature sensor, and the temperature sensor is electrically connected with the controller. The controller receives the temperature signal fed back from the temperature sensor, judges the relation between the temperature signal and the threshold value, and then controls the valves and the miniature water pump to guide the residual high-temperature hot water in the water outlet pipe to the back flow pipeline to achieve the effect of preventing scald. The intelligent faucet is simple in structure, convenient to use and capable of achieving scalding prevention well, meanwhile the residual high-temperature hot water is recycled, and water conservationcan be achieved.
