Abstract

The application provides a resonant frequency tracking system and method for a giant magnetostrictive transducer. A compensation circuit and an electrical signal sampling circuit are connected in series in a loop of the resonant frequency tracking system of the giant magnetostrictive transducer. The electrical signal sampling circuit measures and collects an electrical signal as sampling data andreturns the sampling data to the computer for processing through a data interface. According to the resonant frequency tracking system, real-time tracking of resonant frequencies of the giant magnetostrictive transducer is realized by setting relevant parameters such as a tracking increment, a tracking decrement, and an acquisition threshold. When a frequency drift of the resonant frequency tracking system of the giant magnetostrictive transducer is caused by a load change or a temperature rise change, tracking is carried out within a parameter range of tracking accuracy and tracking sensitivity by using the resonant frequency tracking system and method, so that energy conversion efficiency maximization is realized.
