When a single-phase ground fault occurs in the system, the arc suppression coil generates an inductive current to compensate the ground capacitance current, so that the current passing through the ground point is lower than the intermittent arc or maintains stability. The current value required by the arc can eliminate the arc at the grounding point. The grounding of the neutral point through the arc suppression coil is one of the most widely used neutral point grounding methods in the 6-66kV distribution network in my country.
