Abstract

The invention aims to provide an austenitic stainless steel material having the high antibacterial property and applied to bathroom devices, and a preparation method thereof. The austenitic stainlesssteel material has the function of effectively resisting high-concentration bacteria under the solution treatment and aging heat treatment states, and the bacterial and microbial corrosion risks caused during using of austenitic stainless steel are lowered remarkably, wherein the concentration is larger than (4-5)*10<6> CFU / mL. The chemical components of the stainless steel comprise 18.0-20.0 of Cr, 8.0-10.5 of Ni, 2.0-4.0 of Cu, 0.5-2.0 of Ga, 0.1-0.16 of N, 0.03 or the less of C, 0.75 or the less of Si, 2.0 or the less of Mn, 0.045 or the less of P, 0.03 or the less of S and the balance Fe.The austenitic stainless steel having the high antibacterial property can be widely applied to bathroom device materials containing high-concentration bacteria, wherein the bathroom device materials particularly are part devices such as a water pipe, a faucet, a shower, a door frame, a storing frame and a multi-groove water tank in the bathroom devices.
