Abstract

The invention provides a drug for relieving body injury caused by chronic alcoholic poisoning. The drug comprises an effective ingredient of AOAA (aminooxyacetic acid). Learning and memory ability evaluation is performed on chronic alcoholic poisoned rats and normal rats by use of a Y-type electric maze by establishing a rate chronic alcoholic poisoning model. Experimental results prove that compared with normal control groups, the chronic alcoholic poisoning model group of rats has remarkably reduced learning and memory ability. After AOAA intervention is given, the training times required for rats of a remedy group to learn spatial discrimination are reduced, and difference has statistical significance. Accordingly, AOAA can relieve memory deterioration caused by the chronic alcoholic poisoned rats, improves the learning memory ability and provides a scientific basis for research of chronic alcoholic poisoning injury mechanism and treatment by AOAA.
