Abstract

The invention relates to the field of computer technology, and particularly to a point cloud data processing method, a point cloud data processing device, a point cloud rendering method and a point cloud rendering device, wherein the point cloud data processing method comprises the steps of constructing an octree structure of original point cloud data based on a spatial characteristic of the original point cloud data, wherein the octree structure comprises leaf nodes and non-leaf nodes; equally dividing the non-leaf nodes into a plurality of spatial blocks according to the spatial structure; and performing traversal of each spatial block in a plurality of spatial blocks, and if the point cloud data is included in the spatial block, extracting the point cloud data of one point cloud, thereby obtaining the non-leaf node after extraction. Through performing extraction processing on the non-leaf node of the octree structure, rendering efficiency is improved in performing screen rendering by means of the point cloud data of the non-leaf node. Furthermore, because the point cloud which is obtained through extraction is uniformly dispersed in the spatial block which comprises the point cloud, a problem of characteristic covering caused by over-concentration in an extraction result, and the characteristic of the original point cloud can be well represented.
