Abstract

The invention discloses an application of CircDLGAP4 in preparing drugs for treating stroke. The invention finds that the CircDLGAP4 is existed with a specific binding site of miR-143, and can be usedas miR-143 sponge to play a critical effect in the morbidity process of the cerebral arterial thrombosis. The CircDLGAP4 excessively expressed in the mice brain can significantly improve the brain injury caused by a tMCAO model; neurological score is improved, the area of cerebral infarction is reduced and the blood brain barrier is lightened. The study describes the acting mechanism of CircDLGAP4 in the stroke disease for the first time, and further makes that the CircDLGAP4 is expected to be a novel biomarker and a molecular treatment target point in clinically treating acute cerebral arterial thrombosis.
