Abstract

The invention provides a channel estimation method based on compressed sensing. The method comprises the following steps that: a receiving end estimates an optimal beam pair, and feeds back the optimal beam pair to a transmitting end; the transmitting end transmits a pilot sequence by using a transmitting beam in the optimal beam pair; and the receiving end receives the pilot sequence by using a receiving beam in the optimal beam pair, and performs channel estimation on the received pilot sequence by a compressed sensing algorithm to obtain channel state information. Through adoption of the channel estimation method, the number of pilot symbols can be reduced, and the overhead of channel estimation is reduced.
